For the last century, York Hospital has been serving the health care needs of York and the surrounding communities. The hospital was incorporated on September 17, 1904 when a certificate of organization prepared by seven local physicians was signed. The doors opened for patient services on July 22, 1906 and the hospital has been serving the needs of our communities ever since. Starting out as a summer cottage built high upon a breezy knoll in York Village, York Hospital has grown to become one of the most respected, caring and sophisticated facilities in the Seacoast area.
