Diabetes and Endocrinology Associates
Practice closing August 30, 2013
All of us at Diabetes & Endocrinology would like to thank all of our past and present patients that we have had the honor of serving. We are sorry to note our practice is closing as Dr. Daniel Nadeau is leaving the area. Your specialized care is important to us, however, and York Hospital is working to recruit new endocrinology specialists to the seacoast area. The process to recruit a qualified provider may take several months as this is a very specialized field and finding the right candidate may take some time.
In the interim, we ask that you work with your primary care provider to manage your care. Should you need the expertise of an endocrinologist right away, please call our office at 207-351-3733 and we will work with you to refer you to other specialists in the southern Maine area. We will inform you about new providers as soon as we have more information available. We apologize for the interruption in service to you and your family.
The Diabetes Education program at the Living Well Center is still available.Education
is the cornerstone to an effective diabetes management plan. All of our educators are specially trained with advanced degrees, either as Registered Dieticians (RD) or Registered Nurses (RN), and Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) certificate training
