Infusion Therapy

Infusion Therapy is the administration of intravenous medication, intravenous fluid and/or blood products that may be required following a hospital admission or as a prolonged treatment of a chronic condition such as anemia, rheumatoid arthritis and osteoporosis in an outpatient setting. York Hospital provides these services in a safe, private and comfortable setting within our Oncology Treatment Center. Our health care team works with your primary care provider as part of your treatment plan.

Infusion Therapy services include treatment for:

  • Blood/blood product transfusion
  • Antibiotic therapy
  • Hydration and electrolyte replacement
  • Lyme Disease
  • Osteoporosis
  • Rheumatoid Arthritis
  • Paget’s Disease
  • Autoimmune Diseases
  • Crohn’s Disease
