York Hospital's Diabetes Education Team provides excellence in diabetes education. Classes are given with registered nurses and a dietitian, including private sessions with these professionals.
Emergency Center
The Emergency Center, which treats more than 25,000 patients each year, is staffed by board certified emergency physicians and emergency trained nurses and offers private rooms, in-house x-ray and laboratory services, bedside registration, a separate area for orthopedic injuries and cardiac/trauma patients.
Home Care
York Hospital Home Care is a Medicare certified home health agency providing visiting nurses, physical therapists, home health aides, medical social workers, occupational therapists and speech language pathologists to patients in the southern York County area.
ICU (Intensive Care Unit)
This 5-bed Intensive Care Unit is designed with a balance between offering privacy for patients and the technological capabilities necessary to care for the seriously ill.

A full array of contemporary diagnostic imaging services with all the benefits of advanced technology are available at York Hospital to give you fast, accurate and detailed examinations.
Laboratory
York Hospital's CAP Accredited Laboratory offers a full range of outpatient laboratory services to meet the diagnostic testing needs of the community. The lab is open from 6:30 AM to 8:00 PM Monday through Friday, and from 6:30 AM to Noon on Saturdays.
Mammography
In addition to comprehensive radiological services, York Hospital has designed a full range of screening and testing services for women's health issues. This includes early detection of breast irregularities and breast cancer.
Oncology
York Hospital's Oncology Center is available for patients seeking treatment for cancer and/or blood disorders. Under the direction of our board certified medical oncologists, state-of-the-art drugs and protocols for cancer treatment are administered.
Physical Health & Rehab Services
Inpatient and Outpatient Services are offered for occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech language pathology. The programs are staffed by licensed physical, occupational, and speech therapists and provide private treatment rooms, one-to-one patient care and consistent treatment by the same therapist.
Respiratory
The Respiratory staff offer a full range of services to assist the breathing impaired, and to assist your practitioner to diagnose conditions of the cardiac and respiratory systems. Pulmonary Rehabilitation at York Hospital provides the participant and the family with information and support to meet the day to day challenges of living with a chronic lung disorder.
