EARLY PREGNANCY

This class is designed to inform pregnant women and their partners about pregnancy, nutrition, exercise, sex, prenatal testing and concerns of early pregnancy.

Class meets the first 3 Thursdays each month from 6:00-8:00 pm.

INFANT CARE/SAFETY/CPR

This class is designed to help you become familiar with the care of the newborn. It will also aid in making informed choices about infant feeding, circumcision, and safety.

Class meets the first 3 Wednesdays of each month from 6:00-8:00 pm.

CHILDBIRTH PREPARATION

This series of classes is designed to provide information regarding the changes and discomforts of pregnancy, the stages of the labor process and related labor management techniques, including relaxation, breathing techniques, and positioning to enhance comfort and progress in labor; alternative methods of pain control in labor medications as well as induction of labor and cesarean birth. A tour of the Birthing Unit will also be provided.

This class series is designed for the pregnant woman and her partner and meets the first 4 Tuesdays of each month from 6:00-8:00 pm.

SATURDAY CHILDBIRTH PREPARATION

This all day preparation class (in the place of 4 Tuesdays) is designed to cover all pertinent labor and birth information.

Class will be held every other month from 9:00 am-5:00 pm. Class dates to be announced.

BELLY CASTING

this class will be held the 3rd Thursday of every month from 6-8pm in the Hall House

ENCORE

This class is for women who have previously attended childbirth classes. It serves as a refresher series. Reviewed is pertinent information about labor, childbirth, relaxation, breathing techniques, as well as, medication and cesarean birth.

This class meets the 2nd and 3rd Monday of each month from 6:00-8:00 pm.

BREASTFEEDING CLASS

The purpose of this class is to present information and answer questions concerning breastfeeding. Partners are welcome!

Class will meet the 4th Thursday of each month from 6:00-8:00 pm. Exceptions are 3rd Thursday in December. No class scheduled for November.

SIBLINGS

This one night class is designed to introduce your children that are age three and older to the Birthing Unit. They will see a video and talk about becoming big brothers and sisters.

Class will meet the first Monday of each month from 6:00-7:00 pm. Exceptions will be 2nd Monday in September.
