JULY 7, 2010: York Hospital's Emergent Care Director talks about posting ER wait times on website: "As we start to post ER wait times on our website I want to clarify things for the patients of our community. I feel the posting of this information can be an informative tool to the public. In doing so, we want to keep it as current as possible and therefore refresh the information every 15 minutes rather than give rolling averages over several hours.
However, regardless of the wait time posted we encourage immediate arrival for all potential emergent conditions. Also, in this day of "fast-food" or instant gratification mentality, the York Hospital Emergent Care team is focused on providing the highest, evidence based medical care to our patients and will not expedite nor abbreviate this care for the purpose of shorter wait times. York Hospital's Emergency Medicine Boarded Physicians are here for your medical needs24/7 at the York ER and everyday 8am-7pm at Wells ERgent Care in Wells."

Wells ERgent Care
Our ER doctors also staff our Wells ERgent Care center. At Wells ERgent Care, we have the expertise, the technology and the equipment to ensure you receive optimal emergent care. Our physicians are all board certified in emergency medicine. Our nurses are all certified emergency specialists. With lab services, x-ray & CT scan on-site, we are equipped to care for all of your unexpected medical needs - no matter the emergency.
