York Hospital's CAP Accredited Laboratory offers a full range of outpatient laboratory services to meet the diagnostic testing needs of the community. Our laboratory facilities are conveniently located for patients referred from physicians' offices, hospital services or other health care settings. Our staff consists of highly trained, professional medical technologists dedicated to delivering personalized services to meet your specific testing needs. The lab is open from 6:30 AM to 8:00 PM Monday through Friday, and from 6:30 AM to Noon on Saturdays. Drug testing is available by appointment, and the lab can accommodate medical emergencies in the off-hours. Offsite laboratory services are also offered at South Berwick Medical Services and Wells Regional Medical Community, where the HEALTH & WELLNESS CHECK is available. This service allows patients to request a variety of tests without a doctor's order to help prevent illness and stay well. It is fast, safe, confidential and completed in a comfortable setting.
