York Hospital Rehabilitation Services
Inpatient and Outpatient Services are offered for occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech language pathology. The programs are staffed by licensed physical, occupational, and speech therapists and provide private treatment rooms, one-to-one patient care and consistent treatment by the same therapist. Unlike most hospitals, the facility at York Hospital is equipped with separate state-of-the-art outpatient and inpatient gyms. Licensed massage therapists are also available by appointment. Preschool Children's Speech & Language Development
Complete diagnostic evaluation and comprehensive treatment programs for any speech-impaired and language-delayed child from infancy to five are available at York Hospital. Any preschool child, up to the age of 5, whose speech and language may not progress as the result of conditions such as hearing loss, developmental delays, physical impairments such as cleft palate, cerebral palsy, and congenital abnormalities would qualify for this program.
