Coping During the Pandemic: Stress and Substance Use Disorders

The COVID-19 pandemic has certainly increased stress for many people across the globe as well as on the Seacoast, and stress can lead to increases in alcohol and substance use/misuse.

If you or someone you care about is using alcohol or other substances to try to cope, please join the York Hospital Recovery Center for this community webinar on Thursday, Jan. 21., from 12-1 p.m. Presenters Dr. Christine Munore, MAT medical director, and Eric Haram, recovery center director, will address treatment and recovery options, including medication-assisted treatment (MAT), as well as healthy lifestyle modifications and coping strategies.
