The time of year for planning holiday menus and shopping lists has arrived, which means New Year’s resolutions for improved organization, happiness and health can’t be far behind. While the best way to baste a turkey isn’t an official specialty, The York Hospital Center for Older Adults is pleased to offer their expertise with the latter. On Monday, December 13 at 12 p.m., The Center will host an informational webinar, “Planning Ahead: Support & Guidance Through Life’s Transitions.” Elder Care Lawyer Mary Kathryn Brennan will offer guidance on navigating important topics such as asset protection planning, dealing with age and disability, and maintaining health and autonomy as we age.

Mary Kathryn Brennan is a partner in the Law Office of Brennan & Rogers, with locations in York and Kennebunk, Maine, whose focus is on elder legal care, general estate planning and probate matters. A native of York, Mary Kathryn is a graduate of Colby College and the University of Maine School of Law. A board member of the Maine Justice Foundation, Mary Kathryn also volunteers her time with The Southern Maine Agency on Aging Caregiver Support Program Advisory Committee and the Professional Ethics Commission for the Maine State Bar. Married to law partner Smilie G. Rogers, they live in South Berwick with their three children.

If you would like to better understand how to maintain financial and physical health, safety, well-being and quality of life for yourself or older loved ones, sign up now and join York Hospital and Mary Kathryn Brennan for this webinar at noon on Monday, December 13.

When you register, you will have the opportunity to submit questions for the presenter to address during the program. Family and friends are welcome to join you on the webinar. All participants will receive a $10 voucher that can be redeemed at any Dunkin’ Donuts to purchase food or beverages.

Special thanks to the Maine Health Access Foundation for bringing this educational opportunity to our community.
