York Hospital Home Care is pleased to announce it has been named a 2019 Guardian of Excellence Award® winner by Press Ganey. The Guardian of Excellence Award recognizes top-performing health care organizations that have achieved the 95th percentile or above in Patient Experience performance. Leaders Robin Labonte, Corky Thomson and Katie Dodge presented the award to Sylvia Fournier, Director of Home Care, along with the entire Home Care team.
Robin Labonte, Chief Operations and Financial Officer, said, “Your team achieved 95 percentile ranking or greater in patient experience survey data from May 2018 to April 2019. Only eight hospitals, out of 364, achieved this!”
Chief Experiences Officer, Corky Thomson, said, “This is a team effort and the work the Home Care team does caring for each other reflects in how well they care for their patients. We review data from similar sized agencies, American Hospital Association and Press Ganey’s national data, and the York Hospital Home Care team consistently ranks in the 99th percentile.”
