On December 4, 2000, the Wells Regional Medical Community opened its doors at 112-114 Sanford Road, Route 109 in Wells, committed to providing convenient, high-quality health care close to home as a service of York Hospital. Two decades later, York Hospital in Wells continues to evolve and grow, and proudly celebrates 20 years of providing excellent care—with loving kindness—to our community.
When the doors first slid open in 2000, the Wells facility consisted of an Urgent Care center and several ancillary services and physician practices. Today, award-winning services at York Hospital in Wells include Emergency and Walk-In Care, Imaging and Lab, Breast Care, Oncology, Pediatrics, OB/GYN, PT & OT, Family Practice, Wound Healing and more.
