COVID-19

  • CDC TRANSMISSION RATES:  High
  • YORK HOSPITAL INPATIENT CENSUS, 10/10/2022:   2 inpatients
  • MAINE COVID HOSPITALIZATION SNAPSHOT
  • COVID TREATMENT:  Available at York Hospital’s COVID Treatment Center, York Walk-In location
  • IMMUNOCOMPROMISED PATIENTS: Evusheld is recommended as pre-exposure prophylaxis for all immunocompromised patients, given every six months by injection. Please contact your provider for information about eligibility, or visit the Maine CDC COVID-19 page.
  • VISITOR POLICY: Our Visitor Policy remains unchanged (one visitor at a time with some exceptions)
  • MASKING: Masking is required at all health care facilities.


     

INFLUENZA

  • COMMUNITY AND EMPLOYEE DRIVE-THRU FLU CLINICS AT YORK WALK-IN CARE LOCATION
    1 p.m. – 6 p.m. October 20,21; November 17,18
  • INDICATORS FROM SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE POINT TO INCREASE IN FLU AND OTHER RESPIRATORY VIRUS THIS YEAR, COVID will remain, but awareness of other respiratory infections should remain high
  • CURRENT U.S. FLU ACTIVITY MAP
  • MASKING: Masking is recommended for anyone experiencing respiratory symptoms.


     

MONKEYPOX

  • VACCINE AND GENERAL INFORMATION: For general information about Monkeypox and/or vaccine availability, please visit the Maine CDC Monkeypox update page.
  • TREATMENT AND TESTING: York Hospital has treatment and testing available. Contact your provider or a  Walk-In Care location for additional information.
