York Hospital is pleased to welcome Mary Celia O’Neil as Chief Human Resources Officer, along with Pamela Poulin, MS, RN, CENP as Chief Nursing Officer, to its Senior Management Team.

Mary Celia O’Neil, Chief Human Resources Officer, brings with her over two decades of human resources leadership experience within the health care services field. She offers a collaborative, can-do management style and a strong sense of customer service and commitment to caregiver advocacy. Most recently, Mary Celia served as the Vice President of Human Resources and Professional Development at Spurwink Services, a 1,200+ employee social services agency in Southern Maine. Prior to that, she was Director of Human Resources at Hospice of Southern Maine in Scarborough, and Counseling Services, Inc. in Saco, Maine.  She earned a BS degree in Adult Learning & Development from Granite State College in Concord, New Hampshire. With deep roots in southern Maine, Mary Celia looks forward to, “supporting our York Hospital caregivers as they support our community.”

Pamela Poulin, MS, RN, CENP, Chief Nursing Officer, arrived at York Hospital with over 25 years of leadership experience. With a history of creating environments of both compassion and excellence, she is known for her patient and family-centered approach to care. Pam comes to York Hospital from Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, New Hampshire, where she served as Executive Director, Critical Care Services, overseeing the Critical Care, Emergency and Pulmonary Medicine services.  She has been described as an advocate for patients, nurses and providers, and a dynamic visible leader by those with whom she has worked. Pam received her BS in Nursing from Saint Anselm College, and earned her MS in Nursing from Boston College. Additionally she is certified in Executive Nursing Practice.  In her new role, Pam looks forward to “collaborating with hospital caregivers to enhance the culture and environment in which we provide quality care to the community.”
