Join York Hospital and the Southern Maine Agency on Aging (SMAA) for their Lunch and Learn presentation, “You Have the Power to Prevent a Fall.” This event will take place from 12 to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, February 20th at York Public Library, located at 15 Long Sands Road.

Attendees will learn the risk factors that can cause a fall, and, more importantly, what actions are needed to keep upright. Presenter, Doug Wilson, Agewell Program Specialist at SMAA, will discuss physical activity, medications, home safety, and more – to teach participants how to take charge of their health and independence.

A complimentary lunch will be provided by the York Hospital Dining & Nutrition Catering Team. Guests are welcome to take their seats beginning at 11:45 a.m. Q & A will follow the lecture.
