Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Please note that you should call the office at least six weeks in advance of any travel plans to book your appointment with one of our Infectious Disease physicians.

You will be pleased to meet our friendly and knowledgeable travel doctors and clinicians at Travel Medicine and Vaccine Services of York Hospital. We have been serving our community’s travel and vaccine needs for nearly two decades.

By appointment, our clinical staff and physicians are ready to dispense the most current advice about travel destinations, travel alerts and vaccinations.

Our clinic is a designated Yellow Fever Vaccine Center.

ABOUT TRAVEL MEDICINE & VACCINE MEDICINE

  • Members of the York, Maine community are apt to travel for business, pleasure or volunteer opportunities. The best way to learn about and protect yourself from the disease risks associated with international travel is to call us at 207-351-3530 at least 6 weeks in advance of your departure to book an appointment with one of our Infectious Disease physicians. We are not able to book an appointment until we have received your complete vaccine records.
  • Our specialists also address the needs of our communities by offering protective vaccines that are requirements of college programs, employment and those ordered by your clinician.
  • Some health insurance companies will cover the cost of vaccinations and medications like Malaria pills required for travel, but not all insurances do. Please check with your health insurance company prior to your appointment.
