Community Health
The Community Health team supports health improvement related to substance abuse prevention and obesity treatment. Choose To Be Healthy is a community health coalition that works on Drug Free Communities initiatives as well as other grants.Partners include municipalities, schools, civic organizations, businesses,faith community, law enforcement and retailers. While most of the work is done within the York Hospital service area, support is also provided to York District Public Health (York County). This collaboration allows for identifying and prioritizing local health needs.
