York Hospital is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Your gift is tax-deductible to the extent the law allows. Acknowledgements/tax receipts will be mailed accordingly.
Supplies and Equipment Donations
To help us meet growing needs amid the COVID-19 pandemic, York Hospital will gratefully accept donations of the following items:
- N95 Masks
- Surgical or Procedure Masks
- Hand Sanitizer or Sanitizer Wipes
- Gowns
- Gloves
- Protective Eye Wear
This list will be updated as our needs change.
To ensure that we can safely use any donated items or equipment, our safety and infection control experts need to review items before they can be distributed. We are unable to accept items that have been opened.
Donations of supplies and equipment are eligible for a tax receipt. Please keep your receipt or invoice, and our Friendraising Office will be in touch when we have received your donation.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are considering purchasing small quantities of personal protective equipment from online, overseas suppliers, please consider making a donation to the York Hospital COVID-19 Caring for All Fund instead. All funds will go directly to support our efforts to combat COVID-19.
Hand-Sewn Masks
We greatly appreciate the outpouring of the concern from our community members regarding handmade masks. We would like to reassure you that we have enough masks and supplies to keep our Caregivers and patients safe. However, we are accepting donations of masks and will coordinate with our community partners to ensure that they are safely used where they are most needed.
