York Hospital’s popular, in-person Lunch & Learn series returns to York Public Library on Wednesday, August 4, with “What’s Going on Down There: All Your Women’s Health Questions Answered.” Join Dr. Sarah Jean Hanson, gynecologist at York Hospital, for a discussion about common gynecologic health issues, including hormone changes and menopause, pelvic floor and bladder health, and the role our sexuality plays in our wellness.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Sarah Hanson, MD, FACOG, joined York Hospital’s OB/GYN team in 2019. Prior experience includes a decade as an obstetrician/gynecologist at the largest tertiary referral center in the state of Alaska, and two years of international work with Doctors Without Borders and Surgeons Overseas as an obstetrician/gynecologist surgeon in India, Nepal, andSouth Sudan. Dr. Hanson received her BS in Biology from George Mason University College of Arts and Sciences in Fairfax, VA, and her MD from the Medical College of Virginia at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond. She completed residency training at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, which included serving on an OB/GYN resident team providing health care at a teaching hospital in Thailand. She is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
