Minimally Invasive Fracture Care: A Lunch & Learn With Dr. Daniel Reidman

April 24, 2019 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Free

Join Dr. Daniel Reidman, Diagnostic Radiologist for York Hospital for a Lunch & Learn on Minimally Invasive Fracture Care and learn about Kyphoplasty and Vertebroplasty – two well-established treatment options for patients with compression fractures of the spine. Where, in most cases, patients arriving at the hospital the morning of the procedure are not only walking—but discharged home one to two hours after surgery, encouraged to resume daily activities. All, with immediate or even complete pain reduction. Most patients find that they can return to their “pre-fracture lives” with full unrestricted vigor, and minimal need for pain control following the procedure.

Dr. Daniel Reidman, Diagnostic Radiologist, recently joined York Hospital, after holding the position of Department Chief, Diagnostic Radiology, Regional Medical Center, Orangeburg, SC, where he built and developed the interventional service over the past ten years. While he completed his residency at Madigan Army Medical Center, Tacoma, WA, D.O. at University of New England, Biddeford, ME, and earned his B.A. at Boston University, Dr. Reidman is excited to return to Southern Maine, where he was raised – and to expand the Kyphoplasty/Vertebroplasty and Percutaneous Thermal Tumor Ablation programs that York Hospital offers to the community.

Seating is limited and complimentary lunch will be served. Guests are welcome and take their seats beginning at 11:45 a.m. Q & A will follow the lecture. To make your reservation, please call York Hospital’s Friendraising Office at 207-351-2385 or email [email protected].
