Robot-Assisted Gynecology Procedures

York Hospital’s OB/GYN, Surgical & Midwifery Associates will present a lunch and learn program, “Robot-Assisted Gynecology Procedures,” on Tuesday, June 20, from 12–1:00 p.m., at the York Public Library, 15 Long Sands Road in York, and via live stream. Jamison Morgan, MD, will discuss varied gynecologic disorders, such as fibroids, endometriosis, and pelvic prolapse. He will also present current non-surgical and surgical options along with their respective recovery processes.
The presentation will be followed by a question-and-answer session. Complimentary boxed lunches will be available for those attending in person at the library. The event will be recorded, and all registrants (in-person or virtual) will receive a link to view the program on York Hospital’s YouTube channel following the event.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Jamison Morgan, MD is board-certified with over 15 years’ experience in obstetrics and Gynecology. He earned his BA in biology/biochemistry from the University of Colorado, Boulder, Colo., his MD from Oregon Health & Science University, Portland, Ore., and performed his residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch, in Galveston, Texas. He has also been a research fellow with General Clinic Research Center at Oregon Health & Science University where he studied sleep disorders in pregnancy.
Dr. Morgan’s career has brought him to McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center, Heart Medical Center and Valley Medical Center in Oregon, and St. David’s Women’s Center of Texas in North Austin, where he was the site director of Obstetric Hospitalists.
