On Monday, May 1, York Hospital moved to an optional masking policy for most caregivers, patients, visitors, and volunteers at our clinics and hospital with a few exceptions, including caregivers and visitors in our Oncology Clinics, in order to protect our most vulnerable patients.  The hospital also returned to its “Pre-COVID” open visitation policy. The Dining Room on the main campus reopened to the public, 7:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

As of July 19, please note that masking is no longer required for caregivers and visitors in our Oncology Clinics.

Masking will still be required for any individual with respiratory symptoms or infections, and we still ask that individuals with respiratory symptoms do not enter as visitors or for visits that can be delayed until the resolution of symptoms.

If, as a patient or visitor, you prefer to mask, masks will remain available at all of our locations. If you would prefer your medical team wear a mask while in your presence, please do not hesitate to ask.

Please reach out to Dr. Timothy Pike, CMO [email protected]  or Charity Neal, RN, [email protected] or (207) 351-2013 if you have additional questions or concerns.
