York Hospital is pleased to announce the arrival of the following providers to its medical staff. Sarah Dion, FNP-C, will join the team of providers at Great Works Practice in South Berwick in the new year, and Jessica Stewart, PA is on the medical staff at Atlantic Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine in York, ME and Portsmouth, NH.

Sara Dion, FNP-C, joins the staff at Great Works Family Practice in January.  Ms. Dion earned her BS in Biology from Northeastern University, in Boston, MA, and MSN in the Family Nurse Practitioner program at the University of Southern Maine in Portland. She has gained experience from positions held in Boston at Brigham & Women’s Hospital Audiology Department and the Emergency Department at Tufts Medical Center, along with working as both an RN and APRN at Southern Maine Health Care in Biddeford, ME, Frisbie Memorial Hospital’s Rochester Hill Family Practice in Rochester, NH, and Atlantic Digestive Specialists in Somersworth, NH. Ms. Dion looks forward to working collaboratively with her patients at Great Works Family Practice while listening closely and making health care decisions that lead to happier and healthier lives. When not caring for patients you’ll find her with her fiancé hiking, biking, playing fetch and frisbee with their two border collies, and when the season allows, enjoying her garden.

 

Jessica Stewart, PA, has joined the team at Atlantic Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine after earning her MS in physician assistant studies at the University of New England in Biddeford, ME. Ms. Stewart had previously attended Lasell College in Newton, MA, where she received a BS in Athletic Training. She has held positions as an athletic trainer at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center Orthopedics Department in Lebanon, NH and Memorial Hospital Orthopedics Department in North Conway, NH, where she worked closely with orthopedic trauma and total joint team providers, gaining proficiency in patient evaluation, assessment, diagnosis and pre- and post-operative care. Ms. Stewart looks forward to working with the York Hospital community, and is committed to offering high quality orthopaedic care, in a collaborative and approachable manner.  Outside of the office, she enjoys outdoor activities where she might be found skiing, hiking or spending time with her dog.
