York Hospital is pleased to announce that autumn has brought with it the arrival of Jessie Klauer, PA, to the hospital’s Emergency Department; Nicolette Matteau, PA-C, and Ryan Stephany, PA-C, to Walk-In Care Centers, and Corinne Zdanuk, MSN, MPH, FNP-C, to Cancer Care & Infusion Therapy.

 

Jessie Klauer, PA, joins her colleagues on the Emergent Care team, both in York and Wells, following previous emergency care positions at UMass Memorial Medical Group, Greater Newburyport Emergency Physicians at Anna Jacques Hospital and Wachusett Emergency Physicians in Massachusetts.  While earning both her BS in Health Science and MS in Physician Assistant Studies from Springfield College in Springfield, MA, Jessie volunteered her time and knowledge at medical centers in Ayer, Worcester and Springfield.  When away from the hospital, she enjoys spending time with friends on the beach and walking her dogs.

 

Nicolette Matteau, PA-C, joins the hospital’s Walk-In Care staff after completing her MS in Physician Assistant Studies and BS in Medical Biology from the University of New England in Portland, ME. Nicolette has previous experience as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in Scarborough, ME, and as an Emergency Room Technician at Southern Maine Medical Center in Biddeford, ME. She looks forward to supporting her patients with a listening ear, while emphasizing health maintenance and disease prevention.  When not at the Walk-In advocating for her patients, Nicolette enjoys spending time on the coast with her family, in particular, fishing with her fiancé, and running or walking the beach.

 

Ryan Stephany, PA-C, has recently joined the provider team at York Hospital’s Walk-In Care locations. Ryan earned his BA in Communication Studies from Plymouth State University, an AS degree in Radiologic Technology from NHTI/Concord Community College and his MS in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of New England in Portland, ME.  Much of Ryan’s free time is spent with his wife and two dogs, working on his house, and snowboarding or mountain-biking depending on the season.

 

Corinne Zdanuk, MSN, MPH, FNP-C, is now seeing patients at York Hospital’s Cancer Care & Infusion Therapy Center in York and Wells. Corinne received her BS in Nursing from the University of Southern Maine in Portland, and an MA in Public Health (MPH) from the University of New Hampshire, in Manchester, NH. Additionally, she earned her MS-FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner) from Husson University in Bangor, ME.  Corinne has experience as an Oncology-Hematology NP for MaineHealth Cancer Care Network in Waldo and Knox Counties, Director of Nursing at St. Mary’s Health d’Youville Pavillion for post-acute care in Lewiston, ME, Hospice RN Case Manager for Hospice of Southern Maine and Director of Quality at Mount Ascutney Hospital in Windsor, VT. With her extensive and long-lived background in palliative/hospice care, Corinne has enjoyed building relationships and working with patients to assist with their health care needs and goals. Additionally, she enjoys reading, kayaking and sailing the family sailboat along the Maine coast with her husband, daughters and 14-year-old dog.
