Adjusting to the shorter days and colder weather that accompany winter can be difficult, even during the best of times. This year, we’re also facing continued uncertainties related to the coronavirus pandemic. To help people navigate this seasonal shift, York Hospital will host a webinar, “Coping During COVID-19: Managing Stress With Self-Care,” on Tuesday, November 10, from 12 p.m. – 1 p.m.

Dr. Marc Kaplan, medical director of Sweetser and clinical medical director for Psychiatry Associates of York Hospital, will offer self-care strategies for maintaining good mental health while coping with stressors of COVID-19. His recommendations include establishing routines, incorporating joy, exercising, and eating healthfully. The program will conclude with a Q&A period. (Directions for submitting questions in advance will be provided to all attendees via email.)
