Patrick A. Taylor, MD, MBA

On Monday, April 4, 2022, the York Hospital Board of Trustees marked the one-year anniversary of the appointment of Patrick A. Taylor, MD, MBA, as Chief Executive Officer of York Hospital. Dr. Taylor joined York Hospital directly from Catholic Health Services in South Florida, where he provided senior administrative and medical leadership consulting as part of the Emergency Incident Command Team’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

An emergency medicine physician by training, with a strong health care business and operational background, Dr. Taylor previously spent three decades establishing, building and leading clinical services and staff at Holy Cross Hospital/Trinity Health in Fort Lauderdale.

Remarking on this past year of unprecedented change and challenge in the field of health care, the trustees commended Dr. Taylor on his ability to turn every one of those challenges faced into opportunities for York Hospital to succeed. In a congratulatory letter to Dr. Taylor, they noted: “Your credentials, philosophies, achievements and experience have proven to be exactly what we need to be the health care organization serving the York County community that our mission and vision call for.”

The Board also stated: “We are proud to spread the word that we indeed have a CEO who is perfect for York Hospital. We look forward to many years of building on our recent accomplishments guided by your exemplary leadership. We extend our sincere thanks to you and our very best wishes for a long future together.”
