We are extremely pleased to introduce the first baby born in 2020 to the York Hospital family! A beautiful baby girl, Rhea Maylene Caramihalis, was born at 4:48a on Saturday, January 4th to parents Ashley and Cory Caramihalis. Rhea entered the world at 7 lbs, 3 ounces and 20 inches long.

Both of Rhea’s parents grew up in York, but Ashley moved to Georgia for 20 years, then moved back to York to be with Cory! Rhea has two siblings at homehappily waiting for her: Leighton & Emitt Caramihalis. Dad Cory is a lobsterman in York, whose boat is named “The Ashley C” and is moored in York Harbor. Rhea’s added another “”girl” to the family!

York Hospital congratulates the entire Caramihalis crew, from the tallest to the smallest. A gift basket was presented to Ashley and Cory, containing blankets, onesies, books, bibs, socks, clothing, gift cards— all provisions needed for the family to set sail on this wonderful new adventure. The Happiest New Year, and our best wishes for many, many more, to baby Rhea, Ashley, Cory, Leighton & Emitt!
