Genetic testing
Mammography and Ultrasound
Ordering diagnostic exams is now easier. For diagnostic exams, please fax the diagnostic order form with your clinical notes to York Hospital Breast Care at (207) 351-2036.
For screening mammograms, the patient may call (207) 351-2023 to schedule. No screening order is required unless the patient is under age 40.
Breast MRI
Simply call (207) 351-2023 and fax the Breast Care MRI Order Form to our office at (207) 351-2036. It will be helpful to have the following information
- Patient’s name, date of birth, home and work phone numbers
- Diagnosis and indications for breast MRI
- Confirm whether any recent mammogram, ultrasound or MRI images and reports are available
- Schedule breast MRI between days 7 and 14 of the menstrual cycle
- Pre-certification of insurance is required prior to performing the MRI
