A Matter of Balance Workshop

A Matter of Balance is a nationally recognized program for older adults that is designed to reduce the fear of falling and encourage physical activity. This FREE, eight-week workshop helps individuals identify balance and strength concerns, empowers active independence through awareness of risks, and provides fall-prevention resources for participants and their families. This class meets on Fridays, April 12 through May 31, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Southern Maine Agency on Aging (SMAA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to planning and implementing social services for adults age 60 and older. The agency offers a range of services and programs and provides older adults with opportunities to stay active in the community.
