York Hospital works with many insurance carriers and programs. If you have a specific question about coverage for a test, procedure, surgery or hospital stay, please contact your insurance carrier directly as coverage varies based on your plan. WHAT ARE MEDICARE SUPPLEMENTAL PLANS?
Medicare Supplement insurance is available from various insurance companies and insurers. These policies (there are several) cover some of the expenses not paid by Medicare. Medicare Advantage plans and Medicare Part D are not Medicare Supplement coverage. Insurers may sell 10 standard plans plus one high deductible plan which are required to be identified by the following letters: A, B, C, D, F, G, K, L, M, and N plans. Plan F also has an option called High Deductible Plan F.

York Hospital works with several Medicare Advantage Plans. As of November 15, 2011, we have contracted with the following plans:
