COVID-19 TREATMENT AT YORK HOSPITAL

If you recently tested positive for COVID, contact your primary care provider or visit a provider at any York Hospital walk-in care location listed below to discuss treatment options that can prevent your symptoms from getting worse and prevent hospitalization. These treatments are offered specifically through a partnership with the Maine CDC for patients who have been assessed and are eligible based on the following criteria:  the patient is adult or pediatric (age 12 or older and weighs 88 lbs. or greater), with mild to moderate COVID-19 and a high risk for progression to severe disease. Treatments include:

Oral Anti-Virals

Oral Paxlovid (generic: nirmatrelvir/ritonavir): Once prescribed by your PCP or walk-in care provider, available at York Hospital Apothecary.

Oral Lagevrio (generic: molnupiravir):  Once prescribed by your PCP or walk-in care provider, available at York Hospital Apothecary.

Update: Monoclonal Antibodies/Infusion Therapy  York Hospital no longer offers this treatment. Because omicron subvariants have become dominant in the United States, there are no monoclonal antibodies currently authorized by the CDC for use to treat patients with COVID-19 in the United States.

If you have questions about any of these treatment options, please call (207) 351-2284.
