York Hospital is a small community hospital with a big heart. Our patients are our neighbors and friends. We know it’s important to give back and to care for all. That’s why we work with many schools, civic organizations, and non-profit groups to support programs and services centered on healthy living, disease management, and community partnerships.
Helping to make care more affordable
We provide free care to many in our community who can’t afford it. We instituted the innovative Help at Every Level Program (HELP) to help make care more affordable for those with high deductibles or no insurance at all, but who earn too much to qualify for free care.
We also offer many programs and services to strengthen access to care, such as low-cost transportation, prescription delivery, and many home care services.
