We’re proud to share that six York Hospital volunteers have been named to the 2025 Governor’s Adult Roll of Honor for each contributing more than 500 hours of service in 2024.
The Governor’s Awards for Service and Volunteerism, now in their 38th year, recognize individuals, teams, and programs across Maine that embody the spirit of service. The York Hospital volunteers honored this year are:
- Rose LaRocca – Emergency Department
- Lawren Mulhearn – Materials Management and Housekeeping
- William O’Loughlin – Wells Physical Therapy
- Elinor Toth – Medical Records and Medical Staff Affairs
- Donna Wilson – Medical Records, Cardiology/Sleep Lab, South Berwick Physical Therapy

Kate Ford, York Hospital’s director of volunteer and student services, submitted nominations for each volunteer in recognition of their remarkable commitment to the hospital.
“We are incredibly proud of these individuals,” Ford said. “Their dedication makes a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients and staff.”
York Hospital extends its sincere gratitude and congratulations to these volunteers for their long-standing service to the hospital and the community.
