Perimenopause and menopause can bring a wide range of physical and emotional changes, yet many women report feeling unprepared for this stage of life. During this informal discussion, providers will address common questions and concerns, including:

  • What is perimenopause and what is menopause?
  • What is hormone replacement therapy (HRT)?
  • Understanding the myths, benefits, safety considerations, and risks of HRT
  • Vaginal dryness and other common symptoms
  • Additional topics and questions raised by attendees

The evening is designed to encourage open dialogue and provide evidence-based information in a comfortable, supportive environment.

Leading the discussion will be a panel of providers from York Hospital Gynecology & Women's Health Services:

Stefanie Allison, DO, FACOG, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist with expertise in comprehensive gynecologic care, including minimally invasive and robotic surgical procedures.
