York Hospital Announces ICAEL Re-Accreditation of Echocardiography Laboratory
York Hospital's Heart Health Care Services is proud to announce that we have been granted accreditation of our Echocardiography Labs in both York and Wells, for the second time, by the ICAEL.

York Hospital recognized by the American Heart & Stroke Associations ~ New stroke treatment program
York Hospital is only one of three acute care hospitals in the state of Maine to be recognized by the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association as a participating "Get with the Guidelines-Stroke" health care institution. The hospital has taken a proactive approach to ensuring new protocols have been put in to place to provide timely care for acute stroke patients and to educate the community on the risks and signs of stroke.
